In May 2001 Sarah and I left the North of England to travel overland by cycle, climbing mountains and sailing across the oceans using our own natural power. Our destination is the Southern Hemisphere and Antarctica. This, as far as we are aware, has never been done before.

The entire project will be as natural and self sufficient as possible, wild camping using minimal expense with an open mind to whatever challenges pop up... We estimate this to take 3 years.

We hope to motivate others along the way to challenge convention and look to ways we can help the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. Those that don't have a choice.

Our chosen charity is SOS Children Villages, a family sized solution for abandoned children across the world.

On our way to climb Dent Blanche. Looks small from here... it got a lot
bigger. Above 3000m all day, again on fresh snow, with no sign of any one
else all day.
